Check Conversion with Guarantee
Conversion/Guarantee, our premier service, combines all the benefits of
check conversion and check guarantee to provide the most powerful check
service in the industry today. Merchants are able to convert consumer
paper checks into electronic deposits within 48 hours (two business
days) while insuring the face value of the check and eliminating
chargeback liability and unnecessary trips to the bank. This service
allows you to accept consumer checks as safely and conveniently as
credit cards, thereby providing merchants with virtually risk-free
check acceptance.
 Magtek Check Imager
Check Conversion allows you to convert consumer paper checks into an
electronic transaction at the point-of-sale, without depositing the check. Funds are transferred into the merchant’s
business checking account within five (5) business days via the
Automated Clearing House (ACH). Should there be no funds available, you
will be notified within five (5) business days so the customer can be
contacted for an alternative means of payment. This is a great program
for a merchant who may not have a bad check problem, but wants the
convenience of not going to the bank for deposits.
Traditional Guarantee
Traditional Guarantee allows you to “insure” the
face value of the check therefore protecting the you against checks
written on non-sufficient funds (NSF). Merchants obtain electronic
approval or voice authorization for the transaction and then deposit
the checks. Checks that do not clear can be submitted for
reimbursement. Reimbursement typically takes 2-4 weeks from the time of
receipt of the original item, and is processed electronically via ACH.
Check Collection
Check Collection allows merchants to collect on their NSF checks.
Merchants send the check and information to the collection agency then
the collection agency attempts to collect on the check and returns the
face value of the check to the merchant. The collection agency receives
a portion of the NSF fee as payment.
